iOS 8 Keyboard Tips and Tricks

In the previous post, Tutorial Elek posted iOS 8 Tips and Tricks in general. Today we will share you iOS 8 Keyboard Tips and Tricks.

• Installing third-party keyboards

If you feel bored with the default keyboard, you can install third-party keyboard. During the third-party keyboards installation, you will be asked to go to Settings --> General --> Keyboard --> Keyboards and add the third-party keyboard.

• Auto suggestions on QuickType keyboard

Writing text on your iPhone now has become easier. The new keyboard can show word suggestions starting from now. But if you find this feature annoying or need more space on your screen, you can hide it. To hide the word suggestions, press and hold at the top of the auto-suggest bar and drag it towards the top row of keys. To bring the word suggestions back, drag it up from the top of the keyboard.

• Emoji keyboard

You use emoji a lot while typing? No worries! To be able to use emoji on your typing, you need to set it in the first place. Follow the steps, go to Settings --> General --> Keyboards --> Keyboards --> Add New Keyboard. Scroll down and select the Emoji keyboard. Now you can use Emoji on your messages. :D

• Emoji color

Not only emoji that has been added in iOS 8.3, but it also has skin color that you can change. To do this,  go to the emoji keyboard in any app and long press on the one you want to use. If it as alternative options, they will reveal. Apple allows you to set the color you want to use.

• Accessing additional keyboards beyond Emoji

A globe icon beside the next space bar will appear if you have more than three keyboards installed in your phone. Tap on that globe icon twice to show the keyboards you've got installed.
